Carlee LaRue

Operations Assistant

 

Carlee LaRue is the Operations Assistant at Chatterkick, bringing a wealth of experience from the realms of public health and community engagement. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Indiana University, Carlee spent eight years working with various non-profits, schools, and government organizations, where she held roles that focused on public health and fostering community connections.

Born and raised a Hoosier, she has a natural drive to help others and juggles many passions, making significant contributions both professionally and personally. She holds various health certifications, such as a health coach, behavior change specialist, and Say It Straight communication trainer. Carlee is passionate about improving the efficiency and sustainability of organizations. She excels at fostering collaboration to bring projects to fruition and possesses exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. 

Carlee has logged over 1,000 hours restoring the historic Camp Whitley, securing $50,000 in grants, organizing volunteers, creating a new website and social media presence, and tripling camper attendance. Her passion for youth development and community service is evident in every project she undertakes.

In 2016, Carlee married her high school sweetheart, Hunter. They live on a 16-acre homestead with their two children, Bailey and Myla, a cat named Rhubarb, a dog named Dewie, and 13 chickens. They enjoy gardening, hunting, fishing, foraging, and preparing home-cooked meals with fresh ingredients from their land. Hiking, swimming, and cooking are among her favorite pastimes.
